One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school. His name was Kyle. It looked like he was carrying all of his books.
I thought to myself, "Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday? He must really be a nerd."
I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on.
As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running towards him. They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him. He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes.
My heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him and as he crawled around looking for his glasses; and I saw a tear in his eye. As I handed him his glasses, I said, "Those guys are jerks. They really should get lives."
He looked at me and said, "Hey Thanks!" There was a big smile on his face.
It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude. I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived. As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before. He said he had gone to private school before now. I would have never hung out with a private school kid before. We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books. He turned out to be a pretty cool kid. I asked him if he wanted to play a little football with my friends. He said yes. We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him, and my friends thought the same of him.
Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again.
I stopped him and said, "Boy, you are gonna really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday!"
He just laughed and handed me half the books.
Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends. When we were seniors, we began to think about college. Kyle decided on Georgetown, and Iwas going to Duke. I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem. He was going to be a doctor, and I was going for business on a football scholarship. Kyle was valedictorian of our class. I teased him all the time about being a nerd. He had to prepare a speech for graduation. I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak. Graduation day, I saw Kyle. He looked great. He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school. He filled out and actually looked good in glasses. He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him. Boy, sometimes I was jealous.
Today was one of those days. I could see that he was nervous about his speech.
So, I smacked him on the back and said, "Hey, big guy, you'll be great!"
He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled. "Thanks," he said.
As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began.
"Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years. Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach...but mostly friends. I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them. I am going to tell you a story."
I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the story of the first day we met. He had planned to kill himself over the weekend. He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home. He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile.
"Thankfully, I was saved. My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable."
I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment.
I saw his Mom and Dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile. Not until that moment did I realize it's depth.
Never underestimate the power of your actions. With one small gesture you can change a person's life. For better or for worse.
God puts us all in each other's lives to impact one another in some way. Look for God in others.
You now have two choices, you can:
1) Pass this on to your friends or
2) Delete it and act like it didn't touch your heart.
As you can see, I took choice number 1.

Real Meaning of Christmas
A letter from Jesus
As you well know, we are getting closer to my birthday.
Every year there is a celebration in my honor and I think that this year the celebration will be repeated.
During this time there are many people shopping for gifts, there are many radio announcements, TV commercials, and in every part of the world everyone is talking that my birthday is getting closer and closer.
It is really very nice to know, that at least once a year, some people think of me.
As you know, the celebration of my birthday began many years ago.
At first people seemed to understand and be thankful of all that I did for them, but in these times, no one seems to know the reason for the celebration.
Family and friends get together and have a lot of fun, but they don't know the meaning of the celebration.
I remember that last year there was a great feast in my honor.
The dinner table was full of delicious foods, pastries, fruits, assorted nuts and chocolates.
The decorations were exquisite and there were many, many beautifully wrapped gifts.
But, do you want to know something? I wasn't invited.
I was the guest of honor and they didn't remember to send me an invitation.
The party was for me, but when that great day came, I was left outside, they closed the door in my face...and I wanted to be with them and share their table.
In truth, that didn't surprise me because in the last few years all close their doors to me.
Since I wasn't invited, I decided to enter the party without making any noise.
I went in and stood in a corner.
They were all drinking; there were some who were drunk and telling jokes and laughing at everything.
They were having a grand time.
To top it all, this big fat man all dressed in red wearing a long white beard entered the room yelling Ho-Ho-Ho!
He seemed drunk.
He sat on the sofa and all the children ran to him, saying:
"Santa Claus, Santa Claus" as if the party were in his honor!
At midnight all the people began to hug each other; I extended my arms waiting for someone to hug me and do you know no-one hugged me.
Suddenly they all began to share gifts.
They opened them one by one with great expectation.
When all had been opened, I looked to see if, maybe, there was one for me.
What would you feel if on your birthday everybody shared gifts and you did not get one?
I then understood that I was unwanted at that party and quietly left.
Every year it gets worse.
People only remember the gifts, the parties, to eat and drink, and nobody remembers me.
I would like this Christmas that you allow me to enter into your life.
I would like that you recognize the fact that almost two thousand years ago I came to this world to give my life for you, on the cross, to save you.
Today, I only want that you believe this with all your heart.
I want to share something with you.
As many didn't invite me to their party, I will have my own celebration, a grandiose party that no one has ever imagined, a spectacular party.
I'm still making the final arrangements...
Today I am sending out many invitations and there is an invitation for you.
I want to know if you wish to attend and I will make a reservation for you and write your name with golden letters in my great guest book.
Only those on the guest list will be invited to the party.
Those who don't answer the invite, will be left outside.
Be prepared because when all is ready you will be part of my great party.

Amazing Love Story
He met her on a party. She was so outstanding, many guys chasing after her, while he so normal, nobody paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him, she was surprised, but due to being polite, she promised. They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was to being polite, she promised.
They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything, she felt uncomfortable, she thought, please let me go home…suddenly he asked the waiter, "Would you please give me some salt? I'd like to put it in my coffee." Everybody stared at him, so strange! His face turned red, but still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it. She asked him curiously, “Why you have this hobby? He replied "When I was a little boy, I was living near the sea. I like playing in the sea. I could feel the taste of the sea, just like the taste of the salty coffee. Now every time I have the salty coffee, I always think of my childhood, think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who are still living there."
While saying that, tears filled his eyes. She was deeply touched. That's his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart. A man who can tell out his homesickness, he must be a man who loves home, cares about home, has responsibility of home. Then she also started to speak, spoke about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family. That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful beginning of their story.
They continued to date. She found that actually he was a man who meets all her demands; he had tolerance, was kind-hearted, warm and careful. He was such a good person but she almost missed him! Thanks to his salty coffee! Then the story was just like every beautiful love story, the princess married to the prince, and then they were living the happy life…
And, every time she made coffee for him, she put some salt in the coffee e, as she knew that's the way he liked it.
After 40 years, he passed away, left her a letter which said: "My dearest, please forgive me, forgive my whole life lie. This was the only lie I said to you --- the salty coffee. Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous at that time, actually I wanted some sugar, but I said salt. It was hard for me to change so I just went ahead. I never thought that could be the start of our communication! I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life, but I was too afraid to do that, as I have promised not to lie to you for anything. Now I'm dying, I afraid of nothing so I tell you the truth: I don't like the salty coffee, what a strange bad taste. But I have had the salty coffee for my whole life!
Since I knew you, I never feel sorry for anything I do for you. Having you with me is my biggest happiness for my whole life. If I can live for the second time, still want to know you and have you for my whole life, even though I have to drink the salty coffee again". Her tears made the letter totally wet.
Someday, someone asked her: what's the taste of salty coffee? It's sweet. She replied.

Another Confused Nite
It’s 11:35pm on Friday nite, 25 November 2005. I just reach home about an hour ago. I had a lot of feelings flying around in my mind. I decided to write them down again…
I had a wonderful day in office today. It’s Tina’s Birthday today. I reach office as usual. Today RC and Jo did not go back to KL. The Company is cutting down costs so the Managers only can go back to KL on alternate weekends. This week it was Vivian’s turn. Sylvia came to join us for lunch today. We had lunch in Sugar Bun. The PC Fair started today until 27 November 2005. I went to survey around with Tina, Jade, Sylvia, Carol and Kiong. I met Stanley and Qing Yung. I was thinking of buying myself a Digital Camera and a new Notebook long time ago. I always had tight budget. I don’t understand why. I have been working for 4 years already. I started with a salary of RM700. Until today, I still had tight budget. I can’t recalled where I’ve used my salary monthly *hehehe* No matter how is my salary scale, I would still used that much. It’s time for me to buy the things that I’ve always wanted. I was very happy that some of the Notebooks could be paid by installments. It would be more expensive though, but at least my salary won’t be wasted elsewhere *hehehe*
I reach home around 7:00pm. I took shower and had my dinner. I was very tired already. I was resting while watching TV in the living room. Boy called me when he finished dinner around 8:30pm. Actually I was tired and don’t feel like going out already, but I knew he wanted to see me, so I join him for a drink. When he fetched me, he told me we’re going to Just Waiting Café at Damai for a drink cos Ah Vui is there alone. I was very tired. I thought it’s just a drink for both of us and then we can go home to sleep. Boy asked whether I could accompany him to Auction Event in Hyatt at 9:00am tomorrow. Without thinking, I answered him ‘Ok!’ We reach Just Waiting Café, Ah Vui was already there drinking his favourite Beer *hehehe* After a while, both of them started chit-chatting. They were talking about the difficulties and pressure in Boy’s job. No one talked to me then. I was so quiet, bored and very tired + sleepy. I almost fall asleep sitting there *hehehe* I thought over about tomorrow’s plan. I remembered that I need to settle some matters about the new house. I knew I had to talk to Boy about this.
Around 10:15pm, they realized I was very bored and sleepy already. Boy decided to send me home first then he’ll be back there to continue his chit-chat. On the way home, I talked to him about tomorrow. He looked and sounded so disappointed. I didn’t know what to do. I knew he really hope I can accompany him to Hyatt tomorrow but I also need to settle the matters for my parents first. I also told him about my Annual Leave, which I need to clear part of it in December. He feels I’m so troublesome to discuss with him about these. He answered me sarcastically. I felt so hurt. I just want to let him know what happened today and hope he would give me some opinions. I really wish he would let me know if we could go for holidays together in December since I could clear my Annual Leave *sigh*
Finally, I reached home around 10:30pm. I was confused and hurt. I talked to my parents about tomorrow. They told me there’s not much to do but I could feel they are very disappointed cos I can’t spend some time with them even during the weekend *sigh* I told them if there’s nothing much to do, I’ll need to go out around 8:15am. I feel bad treating them like that but I had no choice…I feel bad too to disappoint Boy…I had to sacrifice one of them. I came up to my room…feeling hurt + confused + bad about treating my parents this way. I’m also very tired and sleepy already. I look through all the brochures I took from the PC Fair this afternoon. I calculated the price. I’m still considering about it. I really hope I could get a new Notebook *sigh* Boy still owe me the amount of his new Palm and also the Handphone usage bills. Christopher still owes me the amount equivalent to a month of my BONUS. I’m in a very tight budget. I feel so sad. I think I had to give up my plans in the end. I asked Boy’s opinion about getting Christopher to pay me back in installment starting January 2006. I never thought he would run away with my loan. I was just hoping he could pay me back comfortably, instead of one lump sum, which would be more difficult. He lectured me in the cinema before watching Zathura. I was already hurt and disappointed. I keep quiet. I don’t want to start a fight. I feel so hurt. I feel so pressure. I’m just a simple girl with a normal job. I’m not a Professional. I feel so difficult in tight budget every month. I don’t know how long I’ve to last in this kind of life. I’ve not been shopping for nice clothes, traveling, rewarding myself with some thing more expensive for a VERY LONG time already. I used to have an enjoyable life with RM700 salary monthly.
I knew I think too much. Whenever I have this feeling popping up and flying everywhere in my mind, I would try to force myself to sleep and forget everything the next day, start fresh brand new day *sigh* I know I’ve to be more understanding and caring to Boy. I have to live the rest of my life with him again… *sob* I don’t ask for much…I just really hope he understands and cares for me more…I’m not childish…I don’t think he’ll ever understands me cos he’ll only thinks he’s always RIGHT in everything…
I can only tell myself ‘STOP! DON’T THINK TOO MUCH! GO TO SLEEP!’

Sand and Stone
A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert.
During some point of the journey, they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face.
The one who got slapped was hurt,but without saying anything, he wrote in the sand:
Today my best friend slapped me in the face.
They kept on walking, until they found an oasis,where they decided to take a bath.
The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mud and started drowning, but his friend saved him.
After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone:
Today my best friend saved my life.
The friend, who had slapped and saved his best friend, asked him,
"After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand, and now, you write on a stone, why?"
The other friend replied:
"When someone hurts us, we should write it down in sand,
where the winds of forgiveness can erase it away,
but when someone does something good for us,

Love, Wealth & Success
A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men
with long white beards sitting in her front yard.
She did not recognize them.
She said "I don't think I know you, but you must be hungry.
Please come in and have something to eat."
"Is the man of the house home?", they asked.

"He's out."
"Then we cannot come in", they replied.

Girl’s Nite Out
It’s 12:45am on Wednesday morning, 9 November 2005. I just reach home, finish cleaning up myself and going to sleep soon. I had a very happy nite. It’s really an enjoyable nite! I was really looking forward to meeting them tonite *hehehe* The story begins…
I reach Coffee Bean, Damai at around 8:30pm. Sharon reach after me. We ordered our drinks and sit down to chit-chat while waiting for others. About 15 minutes later, Lie Lie reach. I really haven’t seen her for ages already. She’s getting prettier *hehehe* About 9:00pm, Christina finally arrived. Four of us have a nice time chit-chatting and updating ourselves about our life recently. Around 9:30pm, Aprine reached, we had a lot of fun chit-chatting, laughing, gossiping and joking around. We talked about our friends. Clarissa is now working in KL. Kavelleen is now in Auckland. Christine and Anita are now working in KK. Sau Ling is now working in Sandakan. We really missed the good old times we had together… *hehehe* Sharon is now working in Wisma KTS, Lie Lie is now working in Wisma Perindustrian, Christina is now working in Alam Mesra and Aprine is now working in Lintas. All of us have our own separate lives but when we once we meet, we can chat till we drop, anything from A to Z *hehehe*
We all decided to leave at 11:00pm. I followed Aprine to Just Waiting Café. She’s meeting her friends there. I’m meeting Boy there. Boy is having a drink there with Ah Vui. We stayed there a while then we went to Foh Sang to eat Prawn Mee. We had supper while chit-chatting and laughing again. My cheeks are tight cos I’ve been laughing the whole nite. I really had an enjoyable nite!
Boy told me his colleagues told him today that he saw me in Shennanigan’s. He was curious why Boy wasn’t there with me, and also why Boy wouldn’t worry I flirt around there. The main point is he was curious why Boy trusted me so much to allow me to go clubbing with friends *hehehe* Boy told me he answered him, he wants me to enjoy myself with my friends sometimes as long as I take care of myself there. He wouldn’t worry cos he knows trusting each other is VERY important in a relationship. If he were to keep an eye on me always and also worry, I would do the same to him too. The relationship won’t be strong and comfortable anymore without the ‘TRUST’ there. If I really want to flirt around, I wouldn’t only do it in Shennanigan’s, I can do it anywhere anytime. His colleague had nothing to say. It’s actually true! I’m really really happy to hear that. I think the same way too! That’s what I like about a guy! I’ve been brought up in a strict family so I wouldn’t want a strict boyfriend too. It’ll be so uncomfortable and tiring.

Back to work after Deepavali & Hari Raya holidays
It’s 12:50am again now on Tuesday morning, 8 November 2005. My first day back to work again after the long holiday break is very fresh and relaxing. I feel I can work better. I’m happy about it. I reach office as usual at 8:25am. I clear all my outstanding works, which have been piled up for a week during the holidays. I updated the Loan Report and Tenancy Report for Ling Ling and Jo respectively. I was quite busy for the whole day.
During lunch, me, Jade and Tina had the tit-bits from Japan. Jo, Chika and RC went to Japan during the holidays. It was quite tasty. Maybe I’m hungry anyway *hehehe* At 1:00pm, we went window shopping to relax and freshen up before doing next half day of work. I thought of buying myself a simple dress for Karen Chung’s Wedding Dinner this coming tomorrow nite at Sutera Harbour. I saw this dress at a new Boutique, which costs RM108. I didn’t try cos I know I’m having tight budget this month. I’ll think again overnite *hehehe* At about 1:15pm, I got a call from Boy. I was surprised. He’ll seldom call me at this hour of the day. He informed me that there’s dinner at his house tonite cos his PoPo is here again! I’m happy to hear that…
We went back to office about 10 minutes late. I was very thirsty. I didn’t realize the time past so fast when window shopping. Kiong was very helpful. I’m so grateful to him. He help me to buy Layer Tea when he’s going down to Basement to buy his cough mixture. The afternoon session was quite a busy day for me. Me, Tina and Eveline got to prepare the Loan Report for Ling Ling. She needs to report our work in the Weekly Meeting. Time past so fast !!! When I finish all my work, I realized the time is already 4:55pm! I’m so tired. I decided to take a rest when the Managers all went up to 7th Floor for the meeting. Finally I had the chance to check my e-mail and upload my blogs *hehehe*
I went home around 6:30pm. I take my shower, change into suitable clothes and Boy came to pick me at 7:30pm. I was so worried I would be late to their dinner. Fortunately, I reach their house just in time for the dinner. We had a very delicious dinner. Boy, Me, Xing Ye, Tze Yen, Jing Wen, Boy’s Cousin Brothers, Boy’s Mum’s Sister-In-Law, Boy’s Dad, Boy’s Mum, PoPo, Boy’s Dad’s Sister, Chee Khen. After the dinner, Boy, Me, Jing Wen and Boy’s Mum make Ice-Cream Fruit Salad for all of us to eat. After that, we all sit down to chit-chat and joke around. I feel the warm and fun in their family *hehehe* Tze Yen showed me her Bridal photographs. She’s getting married on 3 December 2005. Boy and me went to watch TV. They started to talk about going to join church activities. Boy’s parents asked him to join those activities with me. I was so worried he would agree…luckily he didn’t…he started to avoid their conversation…same goes to Chee Khen as well… *hehehe* I’m so happy he didn’t accept their offer. I know his parents would be disappointed but I feel it’s not the time for me to join all these activities yet. I’m still not prepared to face it! Boy and me chit-chat and laugh about the funny Chinese sms that Sharon Tse send to me…both of us had our own fun!
Around 10:30pm, Xing Ye, Tze Yen and Jing Wen plan to leave. I followed as well. We don’t have anything to do already. Boy and me planned to have a drink at Damai Herbal Drink Shop *hehehe* We reach that shop but the Sweet Potato Ginger Drink has been sold out. We went to Foh Sang Herbal Drink Shop. It started to close. Lastly, we decided heading to Yum-Tea at Lintas…hoping it’s still open… *hehehe* We had a drink there and a nice chit-chat. Boy send me home at 12:00am. I talked to him on the phone for a while when he reached home.
The nite finally ends happily…1:30am…

Last Day Of My Holidays
The time now is 10:45pm on Sunday, 6 November 2005.
7:25am on Sunday morning, 6 November 2005. I wake up early again today. I’m feeling happy and refreshed. I think it’s the last day of my boring days. Finally tomorrow I can go back to work *hehehe* When I’m always working, I complaint about boring and tiring of working. When I had a long holiday, with nothing to do, I complaint it’s boring. What a girl !!! *winks*
I sms Boy to let him know I’m already awake. I went to shower and took a delicious breakfast with my parents at home. He called me around 11:00am. We used to have breakfast together every time during the holidays, but both of us are in tight budget now. He decided to stay home for breakfast. Around 1:30pm, Boy called me again, we went out for lunch together *hehehe* It’s raining heavily. We went to Damai for lunch with Christopher. After that, we can’t think of any plans so we head to Cyber to play games. That’s how we spend the whole afternoon again…
I feel happy today. I don’t know why. Maybe Boy didn’t mentioned about anything, which hurt or disappoint me. He’s caring and loving today. I hope I can wake up specially early tomorrow morning to go to Office to check my e-mail and prepare myself to work again !!!

Christian vs Buddhist
It’s 6:45am on Saturday morning, 5 November 2005. I don’t know why I can wake up so early. Maybe I had enough sleep. Maybe I’ve too much to think about. Tomorrow is Sunday. If Boy’s parents are around, I will have to go to Church Service with him again.
I talked to Boy about my mummy’s case. I need to go to Temple to pray for her. I also need to arrange some offerings for her. I asked Boy if he could company me to Temple to do these things. After a long thought and silence, he answered me that if I really wanted him to company me, he’ll try to, but it’s best if he don’t company me. I was very disappointed again! *sigh* I know his parents are very strong Christian, but I just need him to company me to do these things, I don’t even need him to go in or help me to do anything in the Temple. I keep quiet. I told him it’s ok, I can go myself.
I keep on asking myself…Did I asked too much? Am I forcing him to follow whatever I want? *sob* I can sacrifice my religion if I want to be with him. I respect him. I know if I have to be with him in the future, all these little problems should be give-and-take. Sometimes I just hope he would also respect my religion a little. I only wish he could company me to Temple on special occasions, especially Kuan Yin’s Birthday. I didn’t ask for too much. I never force him to pray or burn joss-sticks. He would tell me that if any of his parent’s friends saw him just around Temple area, he’ll be in big trouble *sob* I have to be understanding again *sigh* On the other hand, I have to go to Sunday Church Service with him. Sooner or later, I’ll have to join groups and activities in Church. I understand it’s a very good practise, but I also hope they would respect my religion too. Buddhism or going to visit Temple is not an EVIL practise either. I don’t see why he’s unable to company me once in a while…I always know how to comfort my friends about religion problems in a relationship. My parents are also Buddhist and Christian. They are also able to live happily till now. All relationships have to be give-and-take matters…only giving OR only taking would be very hurt and disappointed…I hope everything’s going to be fine soon…

Blur + Confused
It’s 12:50am on Saturday early rainy morning, 5 November 2005. I just reach home from dinner cum supper with Boy at Damai. I am supposed to go to bed now but I’ve this blur & confused feeling in my mind, which makes me difficult to sleep. I don’t know who to share with about this so I decided to open my Lap Top, switch on the Windows Media Player to play soft music and started pouring out what’s in my mind…
Today is the second last day of my 9 days Deepavali cum Hari Raya holidays. I was supposed to be very happy and had an enjoyable holiday. It turns out I had a very boring 9 days holidays. I can’t blame anyone about this but I just feel bad & disappointed now. I was thinking I’ll have a good time with friends or Boy but it turn out the opposite way. I had fun the first holiday nite, which was last Saturday nite, when I went to Shennanigan’s with whole group of current and ex-colleagues. May Leong, Miss Tham, Nicole Chin, Rene Chin, Joseph Ngai, Eddie, Kiong, Penny, Chai, Tina and some other friends. I was happy I enjoyed myself that nite. I reach home early and hoping the following days would be at least enjoyable, not-to-mention fun or interesting…BUT… *sigh*
I went to survey all the potential houses around KK with parents the whole Sunday morning till about 2:00pm. My parents finally had more interest for the houses at Manax Avenue (Taman Saga) at Kolombong, which is just behind Boy’s Residence. I was happy about it too. The environment was not too bad too. we consider for few days and finally we made a booking on Wednesday morning. The expected completion date is April 2006.
I went shopping with Tina and Jade on Monday afternoon. The rest of the days I spend it sleeping, eating, watching VCD at home ONLY. Boy was sick for few days. I didn’t really contact friends cos I don’t have a car to ask them out for a drink or shopping. I had to stay home. I was really looking forward to spending a day or two with Boy to somewhere further away from KK…maybe places like Kundasang or Gunung Emas or any Resorts…I know he’s sick…I didn’t sound a word…I know we had tight budget…I keep quiet too… *sigh*
My days past as usual. On Wednesday morning, I had brunch (breakfast cum lunch) with Boy at Bundusan Restaurant, Beverly Hills, he told me his father talked to him about us attending marriage course at Church. Suddenly I feel so happy cos I was thinking about it for quite a long time already *blush* I didn’t show my very-happy reaction but I was really happy. He told me he answered his dad that it’s too early to talk about this matter. The feeling I have at the moment is like my hope drop to 0%, I was so sad and disappointed. Anway, I didn’t show my reaction either. It’s not cos I’m too eager in getting married but I think I know myself very well. I choose to have a family not cos of having a rich hubby or very comfortable life. I was hoping to have a comfortable and loving family, that’s all !!! I never ask for anything more. I was in few relationships, until I found Boy whom I think would be a suitable hubby for me, so I really settled myself down, no matter I know how wonderful the outside world would be. I totally change myself to be a down-to-earth girl cos I know it’s time for me to grow up and have a family already. I was only hoping for a loving, caring and understanding hubby when I reach home from work. I don’t need a baby yet at the moment. I would like to enjoy 2 years of comfortable and loving twosome world before planning for a baby. I had this strong feeling and urge of getting married at the age of 24 or 25. I know if I remained in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship for too long, the fireworks between us would cool down. I have been in this relationship for 1 year 9 months already. I’ve never been a relationship for this long. I think 2 years is long enough for me to remain in boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. I’m tired already cos I know I really treasure this relationship too much, no one will ever know what will happen tomorrow so I prefer my relationship to be one step ahead. That’s why I had this 0% hope once he told me what he answered his dad.
On second thought, I can’t force anyone. I just can let this relationship be until times come. Marriage is about two persons. Only one person can’t make it works. If I’ve to wait for few more years, I think I won’t think about marriage already. I know I can be independent. I know I can take care of myself. I wouldn’t need a hubby or a loving family. I’ll need friends (especially girl friends) and sufficient income for the rest of my life. I hope this day won’t happen to me. *sigh* I really hope Boy would change his materialistic thinking. I don’t know how long could I sacrifice myself in this boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. *sigh*
I have friends whose in long-term relationship…ends up…break off…or STILL in boyfriend-girlfriend relationship for more than 5 years and more years to come…or STILL in boyfriend-girlfriend relationship but staying together…it’s like never-ending story…
These few days Boy has been hinting me that he would only plan marriage when he reach the age of 30. He also mentioned that he would like to purchase a unit at 1Borneo Service Suites as his future home there. The project takes 3 years to complete, which is when he’s at the age of 30. I keep quiet. I really don’t know what comments to give. I’m already very blur and confused after his answer that day. After thinking for some time, he told me he feels sorry for his parents if both he and his brother moved out to stay. They would be so lonely *sigh* I also kept quiet. I really don’t know what to answer. I’m an only child. I think that phrase would be more suitable for me to stay. At least he has a brother to be with them again. Once I got married, I wouldn’t be able to company them anymore. I feel sorry for them too. I know I couldn’t ask him for earlier marriage but my feeling is so sad + disappointed + blur + confused. I don’t know whether he really loves me or not. I don’t know what is going to happen to me the next day. I don’t know whether his plan is going to be smooth, as he had planned for the next 3 years. I ONLY know we’ve to treasure what we have now, before we regret when it’s too late… *sob*
I can’t continue further…I don’t know what to express out already…I’m enough blur…
It’s 1:50 am now. I’ll go to sleep.
