Blessed with a Touching Story

I received this from a good friend who had a choice to make.
It said that I had a choice to make too.
I've chosen. Now it's your turn to choose.

The story goes that some time ago a man punished his 5-year-old daughter for wasting a roll of expensive gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and he became even more upset when the child pasted the gold paper so as to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree.

Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift box to her father the next morning and said, "This is for you, Daddy." The father was embarrassed by his earlier over reaction, but his anger flared again when he found the box was empty.

He spoke to her in a harsh manner, "Don't you know, young lady, when you give someone a present there's supposed to be something inside the package?"

The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and said, "Oh, Daddy, it's not empty. I blew kisses into it until it was full."

The father was crushed. He fell on his knees and put his arms around his little girl, and he begged her to forgive him for his unnecessary anger.

An accident took the life of the child only a short time later and it is told that the father kept that gold box by his bed for all the years of his life. And whenever he was discouraged or faced difficult problems he would open the box and take out an imaginary kiss and remembered the love of the child who had put it there. In a very real sense, each of us as human beings have been given a golden box filled with unconditional love and kisses from our children, family, friends and God. There is no more precious possession anyone could hold.

You now have two choices. You can:
1- Pass this on to your friends and relatives or
2- Delete it and act like it didn't touch your heart.

As you can see, I took choice No. 1.
Friends are gifts from God who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.

Think positive and act.

I am thankful for....

For the husband who snores all night, because he is at home asleep with me and not with someone else.

For my teenage daughter who is complaining about doing dishes, because that means she is at home & not on the streets.

For the taxes that I pay, because it means that I am employed.

For the mess to clean after a party, because it means that I have been surrounded by friends.

For the clothes that fit a little too snug, because it means that I have enough to eat.

For my shadow that watches me work, because it means that I am out in the sunshine.

For a floor that needs mopping, and windows that need cleaning, because it means that I have a home.

For all the complaining I hear about the government, because it means that we have freedom of speech.

For the parking spot I find at the far end of the parking lot, because it means that I am capable of walking and that I have been blessed with transportation.

For the pile of laundry and ironing, because it means that I have clothes to wear.

For weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day, because it means that I am capable of working hard.

For the alarm that goes off in the early morning hours, because it means that I am alive.

AND FINALLY...

For too much e-mail, because it means that I have friends and relatives who are thinking of me.

*** Send this to someone you care about. ***

Friend is like Roll of Toilet Paper

True Friend
A girl asked a guy if he thought she was pretty, he said...no!
She asked him if he would want to be with her forever...and he said no...

She then asked him if she were to leave would he cry, and once again he replied with a no...
She had heard enough.

As she walked away, tears streaming down her face the boy grabbed her arm and said...
You're not pretty...You're beautiful !
I don't want to be with you forever, I NEED to be with you forever !
And I wouldn't cry if you walked away...I'd die...

Remember:
A good friend will not come bail you out of jail...

But a true friend will be sitting next to you saying...
WE screwed up!
Proud to be your Friend!

Make sure you read all the way down to the last sentence, and don't skip ahead.

I've learned...That life is like a roll of toilet paper.
The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.
I've learned...That we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for.
I've learned...That money doesn't buy class.
I've learned...That it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.
I've learned...That under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.
I've learned....That the Lord didn't do it all in one day.
I've learned...That to ignore the facts does not change the facts.
I've learned...That the less time I have to work, the more things I get done.

It's National Friendship Week !!!

Show your friends how much you care. Send this to everyone you consider a FRIEND.

HAPPY FRIENDSHIP WEEK !!!
YOU ARE MY FRIEND AND I am honored !!!

"Life is wonderful...Enjoy what we have...Lean to Jesus who walk with us on our journey !"

Go Home On Time

10 reasons why u should knock-off in time at 6pm

For those workaholics, “9am to 5pm” is never applicable to them.
They tend to work towards the principle of “8am to 8pm”, sooner everyone becoming workaholic.

Either it’s a need to work late or bad in time management, here are 10 interesting reasons driving you to knock-off in time everyday, don’t miss it (but, don’t let your boss read it !!!)

1. Letter of appointment stated official knock-off time is 6pm.

2. There are never ending works. Even you work over time until the next morning, there are still piles of unfinished works.

3. Human beings are not Robots. Even robots needs rest, if not they will run out of service.

4.You love your job, but think of your family, they are far more important than your job.

5. When failure, your boss will never give you a hand, but your family definitely will help you.

6. You do not want to ruin your life because of your job, or put yourself into miserable situation.

7. Monthly salary = working from 9am to 6pm.If you work ‘till 6:30pm = 0 OT claim + 0 bonus + 0 ang pao + 0 appreciation + damage your health + affect your social life + lessen your precious time spending with family. If this persist = lack of efficient employee + working performance getting worse + company’s reputation shrinking + increasing of retrench + rate of resignation increase.

8. Anyone who doesn’t agree to the above formula, he / she could be one of those who doesn’t know how to enjoy in life, cruel, totally hopeless workaholic. However, he / she definitely entitle to the “Best employee awards of the year”.

9. Even you got fired, no big deal to you.

10. Remember: ‘Dong jia bu da, da xi jia’ (You can always work elsewhere, this isn’t your only choice)!

$60 per year to be healthy

1. Wash your hair with your head down - this will prevent baldness and stroke! Bending down to wash your hair means plenty of blood rushing to your scalp and head. The blood will nourish your hair and prevent balding. Blood rushing to your head means the capillaries have to expand. This is good for the capillaries. It may prevent a stroke in the future. It means a longer life span! It dont cost a cent to bend down.

2. Rinse your nose with saline water - this will cleanse your sinus and protect you against germs and bacteria. This will certainly protect you in the event of bird-flu. On top of that, if you are not feeling well, rinsing your nose, can speed up your recovery as saline water kills germs at the nasal point. Ideal is to use sea-salt and it costs $10 for a package of sea-salt. It is a perfect way to get rid of sinus! It is a must to drink water with sea-salt! Drinking pletny of water without salt destroys the salinity balance in the body and will make you sick! On top of that, sea-salt contains 84 vital minerals with white table-salt contains only one mineral, and it is sodium choride. Too much sodium chloride becomes a poison to the body. Be wise.

3. Chewing Neem leaves - this will clean and protect your tee and throat. Neem is a virtual medicinal tree known 5000 years ago. Neem leaves are anti-fungal and anti-bacteria. It is edible and good for gastritis. It costs $7 for a baby plant. This plant will last 200 years!

4. Eating Yogurt and drinking Apple Cider with water or mixed into food - these are enzymes and will help your body to break the food down. Also yogurt and apple cider will rid your stomach and intestines of bateria or infections. Massaging the back ribs on your right side will regulate and normalise your bile secretion. A perfect body means secretion is sensitize to food/water intact. It is a perfect way to get rid of gastritis! A bottle of Apple Cider costs $11 and can last one year. Our stomach is the center of our body. If it is in bad condition, our health will be bad.

5. Drinking water with Psyllium before and after bedtime - Toxins gather in our intestine. Toxins enter the body if food ferments in the intestines. Our intestines is about 7m long. To prevent toxin getting into the blood stream, the output must be regular and effective. Psyllium is like a soft brush. It draws out all the bad food and all the germs and toxins in the intestines. After age 50, our body's ability to detox is weak. So we will need psyllium to help our body to do the job effectively. Or else, you face the risk of cancer, cholersterol, heart attack, stroke, etc etc etc. If you take psyllium, you can eat whatever you want. Good input must equal good output. But as one sails beyond the age of 50 into the third phase of our life, we must change our lifestyle; we must be moderate in our actions, t hought and desires. We must recognise that the body is functioning at less than 70% capacity.

6. Annal care with Rectum Spray. It is wrong to use toilet paper. Using toilet papers will damage your rectum muscles. If the rectum muscles are weakened or damaged, there is problem holding the 40 pounds of waste in our intestines. This can result in soiled pants. Using Rectum Spray will prevent piles. It is hands-free and therefore 100% hygienic. It costs $80 but can last 7 years.

7. Rubbing your feet during bathe. This is feet massage. Why pay $25 for 45 mins massage when you can do it everyday in the bathroom? It is free! When I was young, my father said, "Rub your feet during your bathe!" I did not understand then. Neither did he explain. Now I know. Now I am telling you.

8. Deep breathing using your diaphram - this is the right way to breathe as we can draw in more air for the lungs. As we grow older we forgot how to breathe right. All babies breathe with their diaphram! Oxygen is very important to the body. Our body needs a perfect balance of oxygen, water and salt. If one is not enough, disease and sickness will appear. There are a 100 Billion cells in our body and every cell needs oxygen, water and salt! Deep breathing has to be a habit. Oxgyen is free! The habit is not. It requires conscious effort and practise.

The above 8 pointers is my perfect gateway to health and it only cost $60 per annum to buy it !!!

The 8 pointers will not kill us, will not bring any harm. There is nothing to lose but all to gain. We are writing a book by the title "Nothing to Lose, All to Gain" It is about the local herbs you can grown in your backyard or pots and boil them as tea. This is better than drinking tea or coffee. Tea and coffee contain caffeine which is bad for the body. Drinking a cup of tea/coffee requires three cup of water to get rid of the caffeine. If not, we run the risk of dehydration. Dehydration means the body is now open to bacteria attack! The bacteria and germs will be glad to invade as the body's defence is breached. Take for example the Neem Plant. It is a medicinal plant and has many excellent uses like periodontal diseases, gastritis, detox, wounds, skin diseases etc. Another ideal plant is Aloe Vera. The gel is 100% perfect for burns. Nobody knows when a child will be burnt or when will a pot of hot water spill. So it is good to have Aloe Vera ever ready. It costs $7 a pot to buy, after that the sun and
rain will take care of its growth.

Yogurt is called food of the gods.

Honey is a gift from God. God calls us, "Honey". Satan whispered, "Sugar".

Aloe Vera is called the plant of Immortality.

Neem is the medicine from God.

We are made from three basic ingredients - salt, water and oxygen.

The three white devils to avoid - white sugar, white salt and white flour (made into white bread)

I wish you all the best in health and happiness. Good health attracts wealth while bad health dissipates away wealth. Bad health is like a robber who robs you in the day. Death is a night robber for death comes in the middle of the night and take our life away. You can call the above 8 pointers as the 8 Principles of Health. Whoever beleives and practises it will gain good health and live a long life. You can call the above Defensive Lifestyle! Know this - If you dont take care of your health, the doctors will and will also take care of your wealth!

Noah's Ark

Everything I need to know, I learned from Noah's Ark :-

ONE
Don't miss the boat.
TWO
Remember that we are all in the same boat.
THREE
Plan ahead,
it wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
FOUR
Stay fit,
when you're 60 years old, like Noah,
someone may ask you to do something really big.
FIVE
Don't listen to critics,
just get on with the job that needs to be done.
SIX
Build your future on high ground.
SEVEN
For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
EIGHT
Speed isn't always an advantage,
the snails were on board with the cheetahs.
NINE
When you're stressed, float a while.
TEN
Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs;
the Titanic by professionals.
ELEVEN
No matter the storm, when you are with God,
there's always a rainbow waiting.

My instructions were to send this to people that I wanted God to bless and I picked you.
Please pass this to people you want to be blessed.

Give it! Don't just get it!

Most people walk in and out of your life…..…..
but FRIENDS leave footprints in your heart…..…..

Beautiful Red Roses

Each year he sent her roses, and the note would always say,

I love you even more this year, than last year on this day.

My love for you will always grow, with every passing year.

She knew this was the last time that the roses would appear.

She thought, he ordered roses in advance before this day.

Her loving husband did not know, that he would pass away.

He always liked to do things early, way before the time.

Then, if he got too busy, everything would work out fine.

She trimmed the stems and placed them in a very special vase.

Then, sat the vase beside the portrait of his smiling face.

She would sit for hours, in her husband's favorite chair.

While staring at his picture, and the roses sitting there.

A year went by, and it was to live without her mate.

With loneliness and solitude, that had become her fate.

Then, the very hour, the doorbell rang, and there were roses sitting by her door.

She brought the roses in, and then just looked at them in shock.

Then, went to get the telephone, to call the florist shop.

The owner answered, and she asked him, if he would explain,

Why would someone would do this to her, causing her such pain?

"I know your husband passed away, more than a year ago,"

The owner said, "I knew you'd call, and you would want to know.

The flowers you received today, were paid for in advance.

Your husband always planned ahead, he left nothing to chance.

There is a standing order, that I have on file down here,

And he has paid, well in advance, you'll get them every year.

There also is another thing, that I think you should know,

He wrote a special little card...he did this years ago.

Then, should ever I find out that he's no longer here,

That's the card that should be sent to you the following year.

She thanked him and hung up the phone, her tears now flowing hard.

Her fingers shaking, as she slowly reached to get the card.

Inside the card, she saw that he had written her a note.

Then, as she stared in total silence, this is what he wrote...

"Hello my love, I know it's been a year since I've been gone. I hope it hasn't been too hard for you to overcome. I know it must be lonely, and the pain is very real. Or if it was the other way, I know how I would feel. The love we shared made everything so beautiful in life. I loved you more than words can say, you were the perfect wife. You were my friend and lover, you fulfilled my every need. I know it's only been a year, but please try not to grieve. I want you to be happy, even when you shed your tears. That is why the roses will be sent to you for years. When you get these roses, think of all the happiness that we had together, and how both of us were blessed. I have always loved you and I know I always will. But, my love, you must go on, you have some living still. Please...try to find happiness, while living out your days. I know it is not easy, but I hope you find some ways. The roses will come every year, and they will only stop, When your door's not answered, when the florist stops to knock. He will come five times that day, in case you have gone out. But after his last visit, he will know without a doubt! To take the roses to the place, where I've instructed him and place the roses where we are, together once again."

Sometimes in life, you find a special friend;

Someone who changes your life just by being part of it.

Someone who makes you laugh until you can't stop;

Someone who makes you believe that there really is good in the world.

Someone who convinces you that there really is an unlocked door just waiting for you to open it.

May we all be loved so much...

R E S U L T S

TYPE A
Shy, a bit of an introvert. You are more stubborn and like to stay alone quietly at home. To you, talking to strangers is a hard thing so you have not much friends. But you will still have some soulmates. You need to treasure people who care and love you. You are more interested in your own matters, you will try your very best to achieve your target. But you can't do everything alone, and just depend on yourself, learn to open up and accept other opinions. Try to get along with different people.

TYPE B
You are a more active person, drawing a clear line between happiness and unhappiness. You are more quick-tempered. If you encounter things you like, you will do it without second thought. But once you encounter things that you hate, you will wish to get out of it as soon as possible. As you are a person of your own views, the friends you tend to have will be of the same pattern. But once good friends, you will understand them a lot and go all the way to help then. Friends are very dependent on you. As you are too emotional, you may make a storm out of a teacup with your friends. You must learn to do things in order and not give up easily. You can try making friends with those you don't think you can get along with, don't stick with the same category. This will make you more popular and charming.

TYPE C
Gentle like a lamb. You have a high level of adaptance power, easy to get along with people. Very popular in social life but seems that no one will talk bad about you. You hate to have conflicts with people so you always try to adapt to everyone. You treat every person differently. To look at the bright side, you adapt easily. But to look at the dark side, you lack of character, although you are one big nice guy but you lack of charm. On the surface, you have a lot of friends but once you have troubles, you lack of soulmates to help you around. You must try to express yourself more and be more decisive. In this way, you can understand yourself more.

TYPE D
You are stubborn, like to go in circles and don't get to the point. Once you decide on something, no one can change your mind. You are a good leader in a group so you win a lot of trust from your friends. But as you are too persistant on your own thinking, you neglect other people's suggestions therefore you can easily make enemies. Although it is good to maintain your own character but it doesn't mean you totally ignore other people's thoughts and feelings. You will let people think you are hard to handle and you will lose friends gradually and may end up alone. You need to learn to accept other people's opinion. This will make your social circle bigger and you will understand yourself better.

A Glass of Milk

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry.
He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house.

However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door.
Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water.
She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk.
He drank it slowly, and then asked, “How much do I owe you?”
“You don't owe me anything,” she replied.

"Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness."
He said..... "Then I thank you from my heart."
As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.

Many years’ later that same young woman became critically ill.
The local doctors were baffled!
They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease.
Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation.

When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes.
Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room.
Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her.
He recognized her at once.
He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life.
From that day he gave special attention to her case.
After a long struggle, the battle was won.
Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval.
He looked at it, and then wrote something on the edge, and the bill was sent to her room.
She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all.
Finally she looked, and something caught her attention on the side of the bill.

She read these words....."Paid in full with one glass of milk"
(Signed) Dr. Howard Kelly.

Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed "Thank You, God, that Your love has spread broad through human hearts and hands"

There's a saying which goes something like this.....
Bread cast on the waters, comes back to you.
The good deed you do today may benefit you or someone you love at the least expected time.
If you never see the deed again at least you will have made the world a better place –
And, after all, isn't that what life is all about?

GOOD FRIENDS ARE LIKE ANGELS, YOU DON'T HAVE TO SEE THEM TO KNOW THEY ARE !!!

I treasure very moment of it.....
