It’s 6:15am now and I still cannot sleep. This is very bad for my health and skin especially my wedding is so near. I am not sure if blogging could help me to release my pressure and unhappiness but its always worth a try~ I know some of the things are not good to be blogged out as this is my personal life happenings but I really cannot find any other ways to make myself feel better. *sob*
I don’t know what’s wrong with my wedding and preparations before wedding. I have so much worries and unhappiness. I’m not sure if it is because of “me” or there is really problems arising within this period of time. I’m so so so sad that I have to give up my dream wedding just because we don’t have sufficient money for the whole wedding ceremony and dinner. When both of us first started planning for the wedding since he proposed to me on 14 February last year, I’m really very excited about the whole idea and I thought my beautiful dreams will begin from thereafter. As days gone by, I find myself getting more and more unhappy about it. I’m not a materialistic girl. I’m just a simple girl who wish to have a simple and happy wedding for once in a lifetime. To me, wedding is like a person’s life, there’s no Take 2.
At first, I thought I wasn’t working, that is why I have to give up lots of wonderful wedding ideas and plans. Few months later, his business started to fall, I know I couldn’t continue to not work, I know he couldn’t afford to cover for my living while he needs to do savings for our wedding. I made up my mind to look for a job and GOD bless me I found a job. I have worked there for about 6 months. I’m unhappy working there and his business has also stabilize so we both agreed I could concentrate more on wedding preparations and quit the job. I was worried at first but after a while I was ok since I still help in his business. Few months later GOD bless me again, I found a new business opportunity, a friend introduce me to join eCOsway. I was very very happy and I worked hard everyday hoping I could have my own business in near future.
When my dreams are getting better, I was informed that I failed my interview to open my own business. At that time, I was totally lost. I had lost hope and confidence in my life. All of a sudden I feel the whole world is gray and I don’t know what is my next motivation in life. I even had a slight thought to run away to a new country that no one knows me and start a whole new life. GOD bless me again! I got warm and full support from two of my friends. I suddenly realized that all the while I’m praying for GOD’s help to save me from my difficulties and my prayers were answered! I was very happy again! Thinking back now, I feel that I’m the kind of person who is easily satisfied and easily disappointed. But that’s “me”! I’m just a very simple girl. I don’t think of complicated things, I always find reasons for myself to cover my unhappiness until the extend that I cannot cope anymore then I will break down. It sounds more like a machine.
It’s 6:45am now. I’m still wide awake.
Later in the afternoon around 3:00pm, his parents would be coming over to pay a visit to my parents. Today we’ll be doing the traditional Chinese “Gor Dai Lai”. I should be very happy about it but I’m not. I’m worried that everything is not going to turn out the way it is.
Last night he told me that his mum informed him that the main table during our wedding dinner will be occupied by his family more than mine. I will be only given 3 seats which is my parents and myself. This news suddenly shocked me very much! How could it be! No matter my side of the table have arrangements or not, at least it should be discussed with my family first. Now it’s like informing me that the seats will be occupied! When I tried to reason with him, he told me that that is his mum’s idea and her reasons are that there’s no other NG’s family members so besides NG’s family, not even my mum’s parents are allowed to sit there. I know I’m the younger generations but I still need to respect my grandparents (mum’s parents). I have already personally informed and invited them. No matter they are attending or not, it is still yet to be confirmed. When I told him about my reasons and my opinions that IF my grandparents won’t be attending, my eldest uncle or aunt would be there to be on behalf, no matter how they are my mum’s brothers and sisters! How could the reasons be that they are not NG’s family and not allowed to be sitted there. Correct me if I’m wrong! Chinese traditions only allowed father’s family to be consider the most important in a family? Mother’s family are not important? Why bother to get married then? Isn’t it after marriage then both parent’s families are equally important?
My dad is not really educated due to his poor family background in the past. My mum’s mental health is not so good during recent years. No matter what, they are also my parents! How could his mum always decides everything herself and pay no respects to my parents? I’m the ONLY CHILD in the family! My marriage and my wedding means more than anything to them in their lifetime! It is equally as important to me!
Thinking back again…which of the things in my wedding I’m given the opportunity to decide something I like?
I have been giving tonnes of reasons for myself to feel better…
Pre-wedding Photography…I really wish to go France Taipei no matter it’s at Taiwan or Singapore or even West Malaysia…in the end because of the tight budget…I sacrifice for him…
Wedding Dinner Venue…I so so so wish to be at Shangrila Tangjung Aru Resort (STAR) but due to the tight budget and expensive package…I sacrifice for him… *this is my most regretted one!!!*
Church Wedding…I wish to have a beautifully decorated church with full of flowers…I love flowers! and because there is no budget…I sacrifice for him…
Photo Montage and Videography…I really wish to have a very sweet and memorable one but I have a feeling the outcome will definitely not going to be good or maybe no outcome at all…I finally managed to get a good videographer also BIG thanks to both my friends…or else I will not have a chance to convince him at all~!!! He even mentioned to me that it’s a burden for him due to the high price *sweat*
House or Room…I wish to start a family with a “really” proper house we could comfortably stay in…I don’t mind if it’s small…I don’t mind if it’s second-hand…I just WISH to start my own family there…I sacrifice for him…no house then I’m ok with room…now even the room we cannot even renovate anything at all due to family member’s superstitious…now even the lights and electrical fan in the room, it is not in our budget to afford buying it…can you believe it?!?!

Is He A Terrible or Ok Boss
It's a brand new Tuesday *16th June 2009*
I have went to interview on Friday and then on Monday I made up my mind to join the new Company.
I tender my resignation letter on Monday *15th June 2009*
I hold the resignation letter walked in to Lady Boss's room.
I looked at her and smiled while handling her the letter. She looked at the letter and weak smile.
Lady Boss : Why?
Me : I have another better offer.
Lady Boss : Ok. I'll pass this to the Boss later.
After a short pause.
Lady Boss : Where is the new company?
Me : It's somewhere near Luyang. Have you heard of the new Shopping Mall in KK?
Lady Boss : Yes. Ok.
The room was quiet. Lady Boss continue to look at the letter. I feel awkward then walked out of the room.
At around 12pm, I saw Lady Boss holding the letter and walked into Boss's room and hand over to him.
At around 1pm, both of them went out for lunch.
Time past and work routines go on as usual. At 4pm, Boss intercom me.
I took a deep breath and walked into his room...fully prepared in mind to face him.

Since you promised to accept my offer in this job, some more I have not really started giving you work yet, you have not even try out here, then you tell me about better offer for leaving. This is not fair. When I interview you, you told me your expected salary and I didn't bargain with you at all. I ask you if this salary is comfortable for you, you told me ok. You never tell me that you would want a high salary and then I bargain with you or I feel I cannot give you then I reject it. At least then it is more logical if you tell me you have better offer now.
I just nod my head and smile.
Boss : I know every person should look ahead into one's future and climb up in life...but you used it in the wrong way. This makes me very disappointed with you. If you continue doing this in the future, I can assured you won't have a good future. You are a person without point of view in life. This is a very bad attitude. Because of that few hundreds, you can just give up what you have now then totally changed your view.
I continue to nod my head but looked at him in a weird expression.

I choose you to come for interview and you told me you will accept this job then I rejected interviewing all others. Then in such a short time, you tell me you are quitting because of better offer. You tell me what am I going to do now. I need to re-arrange all my works again. I need to waste more time to look for another person. You think again yourself is this the kind of person you continue to be in future?
I still look at him in a blank expression. He keeps talking and I need time to digest what he is talking.
Boss : I have an advise for you. Let me tell you...now that you go work elsewhere...you really need to change your attitide. You cannot continue be a person with no point of view again in future. Married For Too Long
Three women : one engaged, one married and one a mistress, are chatting over lunch and conversation turns to their relationships.
They decided that night to surprise their men.
All three would wear a black leather bra and thong, stiletto heels and a mask over their eyes.

Things Are Not Always What It Seems
Two travelling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family. The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion's guestroom. Instead the angels were given a small space in the cold basement. As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it. When the younger angel asked why, the older angel replied,' Things aren't always what they seem.'

The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife. After sharing what little food they had the couple let the angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night's rest. The younger angel was infuriated and asked the older angel how could you have let this happen? The first man had everything,yet you helped him, she accused. The second family had little but was willing to share everything, and you let the cow die.

Something That I Have Not Share For Ages
It’s 11:45pm now. I haven’t been blogging for ages. The last time I blog was the relationship I had with CM.
Time past so fast…thinking back it’s like almost 2 years already now…
I have quit from my Charles & Keith job since 15 March 2008 and today is already 29 September 2008. I have been searching around for a job but I haven’t found a suitable one yet. I’m not lazy but I just want to have a long break since my first job started in October 2001. I have been working for Wong Kwok Group, Sagajuta Properties (Sabah) Sdn Bhd and Charles & Keith. All this three jobs I have are really challenging and a very good learning experience for me. I really appreciate working in three different kinds of environment and get to know a lot of people.
During this long break, I have been traveling to Singapore with my ex-colleague, Lois and as well as a holiday trip with Kiong, Connie (Kiong’s Sister) and Cobain (Connie’s Boyfriend). Besides the trip to Singapore, I have also been to Mataking Island, a very beautiful island with 45 minutes boat ride from Semporna and my stay in Mesilau Resort, a beautiful mountain resort in Kundasang.
Although I have not been working these six and a half months, I spend more time with my mum, which I think she is very happy. I have not much time to be at home with her since I started my first job. Now that she is still mentally not feeling well but I can see she lived her life better with me around her everyday. I guess that’s a good sign for me. She just doesn’t want be to be too stressful with my work. As for myself, I would also like to look for a simpler job now. I have been a Degree Holder General Clerk in my first job and slowly advanced in my career till a Franchise Manager in my last job. I’m very much satisfied with my career advancement already. I now prefer a simple job with office hour time and five days a week or thinking of having my own small business.
I think that’s all I could blog about my career. I’m happy with it.
Now to my daily life…I have now learned how to play an online game during my long break. It is called Cabal Online. I find it interesting and fun. I guess that’s because it’s my first online game that I learned how to play from the very beginning. I’m so addicted to playing it at first. I can spend most of my time leveling my beautiful character till it’s so powerful now. After some time I get bored with it and I started to play less already. I guess that’s because I don’t have friends around me playing. Now that I understand why most youngsters will get so addicted to playing online games. That’s because they don’t have extra free time to always play it. They only get to play during weekends or public holidays.
My everyday life is just eating, sleeping, gaming, watching Astro On Demand and going out with Kiong once in a while as most of the time he’ll be gaming with me as well.
I think that’s all again I could blog about my daily life.
Now to my relationship. I really don’t know where to start and how to start. I can say I’m happy with my current relationship but I think my one and only closest friend will know what I think and how I feel. I have been asking myself over and over and over again. I keep telling myself that I’m not ready to be getting married now…BUT…I’m actually lying to myself and just to make myself feel better…I had to think it like this…
When I end my last relationship, I know where the problems come from. I had no regrets because I know it’s the best solution for both of us. Before I started this new relationship, I made up my mind, to give myself another chance to try and make it a happy ending…
But months passed, I have that disappointed feeling coming back again…I don’t know what to do…I have been controlling my own mind from thinking about it for months already…I’m not unhappy but the disappointed feeling is there…I felt bad again now…
I know and understand our situation now where financially we are unsuitable to start another chapter of our life now. But I was asked to attend classes and seminars for the preparation of it. I couldn’t talk to my parents about it. I couldn’t talk to him about it. I’m just too confused. I was not being proposed but I was asked to attend classes and seminars. I don’t know what other girls will have in mind but for me the most basic request from me is just a sweet & romantic proposal. I do not expect a proposal then to straightaway start the new chapter of life. I needed the proposal as I know I can give myself & my parents a confirm answer and planning on what I have to do before the real chapter of my life starts. I just cannot accept when I was asked to attend classes and seminars just because there are other friends or his family member are also attending it.
I guess other girls may have different thinking with me but this is who I am. I’m not like other girls. Being with me had to accept what I feel and think. This goes the same for him. I do accept what he think and feels too. Sometimes I know what I say is right but he insisted that it is not like that. I would just keep quiet about it. Any matters and problems in a relationship have to be shared by both parties…to give and take. I actually do not expect to get a proposal and the wedding to be in three or six months time. Everything takes time to plan and make it goes well.
I guess to other friends who do not know me well might think I’m too eager to get married. But for me, I was insecure in my last relationship, and I just hope to get my security back in this relationship.
Recently, I have been thinking to look for jobs elsewhere like Singapore or KL. I have been disturbed by the thinking of my relationship too much. I worried it might end up bad. I have this feeling to runaway from this problem instead of facing it. In my last relationship, I had a proposal ring but matters get too worse where I just couldn’t accept it anymore. I’m happy we are still good friends now.
Now I’m so confused and just let days goes by again…then waiting for years to go by again…I really can’t do anything anymore. I know our relationship would be so much better if he could just take one more step forward. Anyway, I guess guys just wouldn’t think that way. I guess for them to take one step forward means to risk a very big part of their life. I’m not the forceful type…I’ll just let it go on day by day. Now my conversation with him is getting less. He don’t like to ask and I don’t know when or where or how to start talking to him. I do have a lot of my own family matters that I would like to share with him but he just doesn’t ask and don’t have free time to have a good chat with me…so I guess I shall just keep it till one day when he’s free…
I’m happy that Kiong treats me very good…I guess I shouldn't ask too much...I have to be happy with what I have now...but just I hope one day he’ll wake up and know what I think and feel a relationship should be…
This sure is a very long blog…I’m not sure when I’ll blog again but I just feel so down and disappointed tonite…I could blog this much…

2. People who need a lot of body energy to work or those people who exercise a lot everyday.
--- Should drink Wu Loong Tea.
3. People who travel on a bike or work in dirty and polluted places.
--- Should drink Green Tea.
4. For people who like to sit down all day long and not do anything, even exercising.
--- Must drink Green Tea and Flower Tea.
5. People who smoke and drink a lot of alcoholic drinks.

6. Carnnivore ( i.e. people who must eat meat at least once a day, or feel sickly)
--- Try to drink some Wu Loong Tea.

Good Way of Handling Affairs
Sally is at home when she hears someone knock at the door.
She goes to the door and opens it to see a man standing there.
He asks the lady 'Do you have a vagina?'
Shocked she slams the door in disgust.
The next morning she hears a knock at the door and it is the same man and he asks the same question to the woman 'Do you have a vagina?'.
She slams the door again.
Later that night when her husband gets home she tells him what has happened for the last two days.
The husband tells the wife in a loving and concerned voice 'Honey I am taking tomorrow off to be home just in case this guy shows up again'.
The husband says to the wife in a whispered voice 'Honey, I'm going to hide behind the door and listen and if it is the same guy I want you to answer yes to the question because I want to see where he is going with it'.
She nods yes to her husband and opens the door.
Sure enough the same fellow is standing there and asks the same question.
'Do you have vagina?'
'Yes' she says.
The man replies...'Good! Would you mind telling your husband to leave my wife alone and start using yours!!!'

Family First
A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.
SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'
DAD: 'Yeah sure, what is it?' replied the man.
SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily.
SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'If you must know, I make RM100 an hour.'
SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.
SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow RM50?'
The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such this childish behavior.'
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions.
How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started tothink : Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that RM50 and he really didn't ask for money very often.
The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.
'Are you asleep, son?' he asked.
'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.
'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man.
'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the RM50 you asked for.'
The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled.
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.
The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.
The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.
'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.
'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.
'Daddy, I have RM100 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'
The father was crushed.
He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.
It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life.
We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts.
Do remember to share that RM100 worth of your time with someone you love.
If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily REPLACE us in a matter of days.
But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.
And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family.

Men Are Just Happier People
NICKNAMES
If Laura, Kate and Sarah go out for lunch, they will call each other Laura, Kate and Sarah.
If Mike, Dave and John go out, they will affectionately refer to each other as Fat Boy, Godzilla and Four-eyes.
EATING OUT
When the bill arrives, Mike, Dave and John will each throw in $20, even though it's only for $32.50.
None of them will have anything smaller and none will actually admit they want change back.
When the girls get their bill, out come the pocket calculators.
MONEY
A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs.
A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn't need but it's on sale.
BATHROOMS
A man has six items in his bathroom : toothbrush and toothpaste, shaving cream, razor, a bar of soap, and a towel.
The average number of items in the typical woman's bathroom is 337.
A man would not be able to identify more than 20 of these items.

The Most Cherised Relationship In Life
When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, "I've got something to tell you."
She sat down and ate quietly.
Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.
Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth.
But I had to let her know what I was thinking.
I want a divorce.
I raised the topic calmly.
She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, "why?"
I avoided her question.
This made her angry.
She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man!
That night, we didn't talk to each other.
She was weeping.
I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage.
But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; I had lost my heart to a lovely girl called Dew.
I didn't love her anymore.
I just pitied her!
With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, 30% shares of my company and the car.
She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces.
The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger.
I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Dew so dearly.
Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see.
To me her cry was actually a kind of release.
The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.
The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table.
I didn't have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Dew.
When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing.
I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.
In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn't want anything from me, but needed a month's notice before the divorce.
She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible.
Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a months time and she didn't want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.
This was agreeable to me.
But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day.
She requested that everyday for the month's duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door every morning.
I thought she was going crazy.
Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.
I told Dew about my wife s divorce conditions.
She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd.
No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully.
My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed.
So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy.
Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mummy in his arms.
His words brought me a sense of pain.
From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms.
She closed her eyes and said softly; don't tell our son about the divorce.
I nodded, feeling somewhat upset.
I put her down outside the door.
She went to wait for the bus to work.
I drove alone to the office.
On the second day, both of us acted much more easily.
She leaned on my chest.
I could smell the fragrance of her blouse.
I realized that I hadn't looked at this woman carefully for a long time.
I realized she was not young any more.
There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying!
Our marriage had taken its toll on her.
For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.
On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning.
This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me.
On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again.
I didn't tell Dew about this.
It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by.
Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.
She was choosing what to wear one morning.
She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one.
Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger.
I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily.
Suddenly it hit me; she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart.
Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head.
Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it's time to carry mum out.
To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life.
My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly.
I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute.
I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway.
Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally.
I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day.
But her much lighter weight made me sad.
On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step.
Our son had gone to school.
I held her tightly and said, "I hadn't noticed that our life lacked intimacy."
I drove to office...jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door.
I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind.
I walked upstairs.
Dew opened the door and I said to her, "Sorry Dew, I do not want the divorce anymore."
She looked at me, astonished.
Then touched my forehead.
"Do you have a fever?" she said.
I moved her hand off my head.
"Sorry Dew", I said.
"I won't divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn't value the details of our lives, not because we didn't love each other any more."
"Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death does us apart."
Dew seemed to suddenly wake up.
She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears.
I walked downstairs and drove away.
At thefloral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife.
The sales girl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote: "I'll carry you out every morning until death do us apart"
The small details of our lives are what really matter in a relationship.
It is not the mansion, the car, the property, the bank balance that matters.
These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves.
So find time to be your spouse's friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy.
Do have a real happy marriage!
Relationships are made not to exploit, not to be broken.
We teach some by what we say.
We teach some more by what we do.
But we teach most by what we are.
You don't get to choose how you are going to die, or when, but you can decide how you are going to live, here and now.
