Dr. M was thinking about sending somebody into space.
Three potential can-or-nauts were called for an interview - one Indian, one Malay and one Chinese.
Dr. M interviews the Indian first:
"So, Muthu, this is a dangerous mission.How much do you think you should be paid?"
Muthu replied:
"One million ringgit."
"Why so much?" asks Dr. M.
"Very dangerous mission, Datuk. Maybe no come back!" replied Muthu.
"That's understandable," says Dr. M.
"Thank you...Please ask the Malay guy to come here."
So the Malay walks up, and is asked the same question.
"Alamak!...2 million, Datuk," replied the Malay candidate.
"Two million? That's twice as much! Even the aneh before you asked for only one million."
"You see, Datuk," explains Mat "I have 4 wives and 15 children...With 20 of us, it is a big family to support when I am gone...!"
"I see," says Dr. M.
"Okay, can you ask that Chinese guy to come then?"
The Chinese guy comes in and Dr. M asks, "Ah Chong, given this is a very risky mission, how much do you want?"
Ah Chong thinks for a while, and says, "3 million..."
Mahathir appears shocked. "What?!? 3 million! Why so much?"
Ah Chong beckons Dr. M to come closer.
He quietly whispers into his ear, "Datuk, one million you keep, one million I keep, and then one more million to send that aneh into space lah!"

Hand Manners
Simple knowledge but we have to knowfor daily talking with families and friends.
Why should the wedding ring be worn on the fourth finger?
There is a beautiful and convincing explanation given by the Chinese Legend.
Thumb represents your Parents
Second (Index) finger represents your Siblings
Middle finger represents your-Self
Fourth (Ring) finger represents your Life Partner and
the Last (Little) finger represents your children.
Firstly, open your palms (face to face), bend the middle fingers and hold them together - back to back
Secondly, open and hold the remaining three fingers and the thumb - tip to tip
Now, try to separate your thumbs (representing the parents) they will open because your parents are not destined to live with you life long, and have to leave you sooner or later.
Please join your thumbs as before and separate your Index fingers (representing siblings) they will also open, because your brothers and sisters will have their own families and will have to lead their own separate lives.

Old Father & Innocent Son
An 80 year old man was sitting on the sofa in his house along with his 45 years old highly educated son.
Suddenly a crow perched on their window.
The Father asked his Son, "What is this?"
The Son replied "It is a crow".
After a few minutes, the Father asked his Son the 2nd time, "What is this?"
The Son said "Father, I have just now told you "It's a crow".
After a little while, the old Father again asked his Son the 3rd time, What is this?"
At this time some ex-pression of irritation was felt in the Son's tone when he said to his Father with a rebuff. "It's a crow, a crow".
A little after, the Father again asked his Son the 4th time, "What is this?"
This time the Son shouted at his Father, "Why do you keep asking me the same question again and again, although I have told you so many times 'IT IS A CROW'. Are you not able to understand this?"
A little later the Father went to his room and came back with an old attered diary, which he had maintained since his Son was born. On opening a page, he asked his Son to read that page. When the son read it, the following words were written in the diary :-
"Today my little son aged three was sitting with me on the sofa, when a crow was sitting on the window. My Son asked me 23 times what it was, and I replied to him all 23 times that it was a Crow.
I hugged him lovingly each time h e asked me the same question again and again for 23 times. I did not at all feel irritated I rather felt affection for my innocent child".
While the little child asked him 23 times "What is this", the Father had felt no irritation in replying to the same question all 23 times and when today the Father asked his Son the same question just 4 times, the Son felt irritated and annoyed.

If your parents attain old age, do not repulse them or look at them as a burden, but speak to them a gracious word, be cool, obedient, humble and kind to them.
Be considerate to your parents.
From today say this aloud, "I want to see my parents happy forever. They have cared for me ever since I was a little child. They have always showered their selfless love on me. They crossed all mountains and valleys without seeing the storm and heat to make me a person presentable in the society today".
Say a prayer to God, "I will serve my old parents in the BEST way. I will say all good and kind words to my dear parents, no matter how they behave.

In Malaysia, the average family income is RM3,000 /month (where father works, mother doesn't)?
I understand there are many families whose monthly income does not reach RM3,000,
but, to make things simple, let's take RM3,000 as the figure.

Okay, let's start rolling with a family which has Papa, Mama, 1 daughter and 1 son.

(No air-con, No home theatre, No water heater ... ok?)

(3 meals on RM25/day, RM25 for 4 persons...?)
Papa makan / teh-tarik during working hrs : RM155
(RM5/day, RM5...can eat what?)
Car repayment : RM400
(A proton saga aeroback, 7 yrs repayment)
Petrol (living in city, traffic-jam) : RM300
(go to work, bring son to school, only can afford one car running)

1) Scenario. Imagine this...
A EPF contributor with a non-working wife and 3 school-going children.He died unexpectedly of a heart attack. He has been contributing to the EPF since he started work as an engineer about 25 years ago and have asizeable amount of savings. However, the widow approaches the EPF for the savings. She is informed that he had named his 1st girlfriend as the beneficiary and never got to updating his nomination. Therefore, the widow is not entitled to a cent of the money even you have a will . (In case of Muslims, there is still recourse under the Syariah Laws) For Non-Muslims, however, there is real concern that your life-long savings may not reach your dependants.) The above scenario may seem unlikely to you but suchcases are very common.
2) Findings of the EPF.
Many EPF contributors either do not name any beneficiary or else fail to update their nomination as conditions warrant. As it stands, about 76% of EPF's 8.51 million members have not made any nomination. And out of the 24% who have, many have not updated their nomination. All your savings and the dividends accumulated over the years may not go to those who need it the most if you do not name a beneficiary or do not update your nomination.
What happens if :-
a) Failure to make a nomination.
If a EPF member has not made any nomination, his savings will be distributed in accordance to the law.
Letters of Administration (LA).
In general, when no nominee is named, the member's family will have to produce what is known as LA and submit this to the EPF in order to withdraw the savings. (The LA authorises the person appointed to act as administrator of the estate of the deceased member. This involves employing the services of a lawyer who will make the relevant petitions to court to get the LA. The whole process takes 8 to 12 months,or longer if more than one person decides to obtain the LA).
Grant of Probate (Probate)
If the member had made a will, the member's family will have to produce what is known as Probate and submit this to the EPF. (The Probate is an authorisation by the court to the executor named in the will to administer the distribution of the estate of the deceased member).
a) Distribution Order.
If the money in question does not exceed RM 600,000 (and there is no land involved), the family of the deceased can then approach the Public Trustee (Amanah Raya) to obtain a Distribution Order.
b) Consequence of failing to update nomination.
If the member does not update his nomination, whoever the EPF contributor has named as his or the beneficiary in the Form KWSP 4 (AHL) will receive the member's entire savings. Therefore, the spouse and family of the deceased will receive nothing if the contributor has named someone else, his friend, as his EPF beneficiary. This friend will inherit his savings even if the contributor had named his spouse and children as beneficiaries to his property, including his EPF savings, in a will is made after the EPF nomination.
c) Muslim contributors.
They are governed by the inheritance regulations under the Syariah Laws. The term "beneficiary" does not apply to the person nominated by a muslim. The nominee in effect only acts as an executor(wasi) of the contributor's savings. Upon the contributor 's death, this executor has a duty to distribute the deceased's property in accordance with Faraid (inheritance) Laws.3.
How does one make a nomination or update a previous one ?
You can do it by completing the Form KWSP 4 (AHL) which can be obtained at the EPF offices. You have to fill in a new KWSP 4 with the name of the person you now want to inherit your EPF savings. The new form will automatically cancel your previous nomination.
The advantages of naming a beneficiary and keeping this nomination updated are enormous. It not only ensure that your savings will go to those who need it most, but also guarantees speedy payment to your loved ones in such a time of need. If all the documents are in order, your nominee will get your EPF savings in about a month.

Support Your Body
BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS
1. No Breakfast.
People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level. This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.
2. Overeating.
It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.
3. Smoking.
It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.
4. High Sugar consumption.
Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.
5. Air Pollution.
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.
6. Sleep Deprivation.
Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells.
7. Head covered while sleeping.
Sleeping with the head covered increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.
8. Working your brain during illness.
Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.
9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts.
Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.
10. Talking Rarely.
Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain.
The main causes of liver damage are:-
1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fat.
8. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver. Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.
We should prevent this without necessarily spending more.
We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits.
Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to "schedule"
Because:
Evening at 9 - 11pm : is the time for eliminating unnecessary toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on health.
Evening at 11pm - 1am : is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 1 - 3am : detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 3 - 5am : detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.

I just finish shower. I wanted to sleep but I don’t feel sleepy. I’m mentally tired but my eyes can’t close to rest. I don’t want to think so much. I want to have a good rest and wake up early tomorrow for work. Whenever I close my eyes, there are a lot of thoughts flying through my mind. I can’t wipe them away and rest properly. I feel so tired mentally. I’m not this kind of person. I’ve changed to be like this kind of person as days goes by in my life.
I don’t have an aim in my life anymore. I used to have an aim to achieve as a way to motivate myself. I’ve always wanted my own house and my own car. I’ve got both of it this year. My parents bought a new house in Taman Saga, Kolombong, which we moved in to stay on 15 January 2007. I finally owned my first car, Black Gen2 on 25 April 2007.
The next greatest moment I want in my life is to have my own family. It’s my dream since I’m 18 years old. I wanted to have a simple and happy relationship then followed by simple and happy marriage proposal then followed by unforgettable and happy wedding and last but not least simple and happy family life…
I know this will only happen if two people are willing to go through ups and downs, sadness and happiness, forgiveness and forgetness together…
The most important part is the time and moment, which both people must appreciate and treasure to step into a new chapter of life…
I’m trying very hard to let go this thinking and feeling but it is really very difficult for me…I’m going through an unhappy and difficult journey in my life now…I feel hopeless and directionless in my life…
I have no aim to achieve in my life now. The only thing I can think to make myself feel better is to save and plan for vacation, a trip to countries that I’ve never been before…I’m not really willing to travel on my own now…I actually wanted to put this aim in my family life…
I wanted a simple and happy family life…with or without children doesn’t matter to me…I don’t mind to work to save for a vacation…the most important thing I wanted to have after marriage is to travel at least ONCE a year with my hubby or children to maintain a happy family life…I don’t mind whether it’s a near or far place…at least somewhere away from home sweet home…
I feel disappointed and hopeless because I don’t know who is the ONE who could understand what I think or feel…MONEY is not the most important thing in life…just enough for a living is consider good for me…I don’t need to own big house…drive luxurious car…wear branded attire…own loads of jewelries…live high-class life…NO! There’s no such thing in MY dictionary…Caring, Understanding, Loving and Trusting is the one I really treasure and appreciate from SOMEONE…

Women Sayings
Nine sayings women use...
1) Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
2) Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.
3) Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.
4) Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!
5) Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing.)
6) That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.
7) Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say you're welcome.
8) Whatever: Is a women's way of saying F@!K YOU!
9) Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to #3.

For all those men who say, Why buy a cow when you can get milk for free?
Here's an update for you : Nowadays, 80% of women are against marriage, WHY?
Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage.

3. Men are like...Weather.....Nothing can be done to change them.
4. Men are like...Blenders.....You need One, but you're not quite sure why.

6. Men are like...Commercials.....You can't believe a word they say.
7. Men are like....Department Stores.....Their clothes are always 1/2 off.

Thinking back...

I just finished watching Astro Channel 30 Chinese series “Trimming Success”. I make myself a hot Nescafe and come up to my bedroom. I switched on my notebook and my Winamp listening to some slow nice songs. I have not been happy recently. I feel different. As day goes by, I feel I’m more and more unhappy in my life. I don’t know what is the real reason. I always know how to comfort my friends or anyone who talks to me about their problems. I told them to think positively, enjoy simple life and most important be happy always. I can’t do it myself.
I’m 26 years old now. I’m Store Manager for Charles & Keith, international brand name worldwide. I think with this age to achieve this could be considered a successful lady. I should be happy about it. Actually I Am! I’m not the kind of businesswoman person. I’ve always a simple and happy family life. I’ve waited so many years for this dream to come true…I’ve been waiting since the age of 17…I’ve to keep on waiting patiently…I’m mentally tired…I’m not so happy to be successful in my career…Now…I’m starting to lose faith in relationship and family life… *feeling hurt…tears rolling down my eyes* People will think I’m so keen to marry because I worry no one will want me…BUT to me…I just feel a happy family means a lot to me…I will face problems in family life too…I’m willing to face it…solve it…this will means the same as people who are willing to sacrifice anything for their career…or financial…I just know that everyone has their own priorities in life…Every One has their own different thinking for life…
I have this sour feeling now when I think of relationship. I don’t want to think like that but it just keeps appearing in my mind when I’m free to relax my mind after finishing work. Trust Me! It really hurts. It’ll make someone lose faith and feeling in relationship…
Thinking back…I’ve tried to talk so many times…until I can’t even count how many times have I talk about it…I really hope to marry and have my own family…I’m disappointed ALL the times…NOW…I not only don’t want to mention or talk about it…I don’t even want to think about it…I’m getting more and more unhappy and disappointed when I continue to think of something that I know wouldn’t happened in my life so soon…I’m slowly trying to give up now…I know I can’t do it right away but I’ll try my best… *feeling even more hurt…tears streaming down my face*
I’m very happy for friends or relatives when I see them getting married…especially my close friends. I know finally another couple is starting another new chapter of their life…weather it is happy ending OR sad ending to a family…definitely we’ll have to appreciate it…it is FATE who brings two persons together…now any two persons can be destined to be together in a life…
I’ll only appreciate and treasure the relationship now…I’ll try my very best to avoid thinking so far ahead…I know it wouldn’t happened to me so soon…
